For those of you living in the London area, John Greatrex
one of our members will be giving a slide-show & lecture entitled ‘The
Pole with the Hole’. at 8 p.m. on Tuesday 26th September The date is on
the 150th anniversary of the first Crystal Palace Column being erected at Hyde
Park. The talk will take place at the Crystal Palace Museum, Anerley Hill,
London SE19. Tickets which are limited, are £3.00 each which includes a Souvenir
Crystal Palace Mug. I shall be there myself and look forward to meeting a few
members.
